Using a tech pen and watercolor paints, I created wild flower art. This art could be used instead of real images to add an artsy, homemade feel to any project. The free flowing feel of watercolor compliments the look of wild flowers nicely.
The Process
I did some research about wild flowers in Wisconsin and gathered some reference images to use. I tried to find flowers with colors that I thought would compliment one another.
I used a pencil to sketch how I wanted the flowers to look on paper. When I got the flowers looking how I wanted, I outlined them with a black tech pen and erased the pencil markings.
After the images were outlined, I went over the picture with watercolor. I practiced what colors I wanted on a separate piece of paper before I started.
